ONE-TO-ONES AND SPECIAL EVENTS: faith page
We are both so glad we reached out to Faith to teach a yoga session on a recent hen do we organised for one of our best friends. Whilst visiting the beautiful Shropshire countryside, it seemed very fitting to make use of the yoga studio where we were staying, soak in the beautiful views and start the day right. Faith was really lovely and the class was amazing! We all thoroughly enjoyed our session, it was the perfect start to the day, leaving all the hens feeling super relaxed and ready for breakfast! Thank you again, wish we could be doing it every morning!

YOGA YOUR WAY?
Faith Page offers one-to-one tuition, tailor-made classes for sport clubs, schools, businesses and festivals as well as running workshops (and this website!)
One recent growth area has been hen parties and other weekend gatherings at one of the many large homes available for rent in the county. Faith's recently been working at Wollaston Lodge, which boasts its own yoga studio (doubling up for a silent disco at night!). If you're considering getting a group together, whether for a hen weekend or a yoga retreat, it's a lovely spot in the west Shropshire countryside - just look at the view out of the window below! If you'd like to book Faith for your event, get in touch for availability and prices. |
Whilst there are many benefits to be gained from attending group yoga classes, an ideal way for some people to learn yoga and develop their personal practice is through one to one sessions. Your needs will be discussed and assessed and from this an individual practice of postures and breathing will be developed and taught; one that is appropriate for you. Things to consider might include general health, flexibility, and life circumstances.
Reasons to consider one to one yoga classes
About Faith Page: I started dabbling with yoga in my twenties, but didn't take it up seriously until I became pregnant with the first of my three children. After getting back into shape I began to notice the mental as well as physical benefits and started to take an interest in yoga philosophy, assisted by Jilly Shipway on the BWY Foundation Course. Keen to widen my knowledge further, I began a three year part-time BWY teaching diploma course in 2009 with Richard Adamo. I currently teach classes near Shrewsbury. When I'm not teaching yoga, I work at the BBC as a broadcast journalist. My classes are friendly and fun and, hopefully, fulfilling too! They include: Physical postures or asanas, often worked into a flowing sequence, set to music, to work on strength and flexibility. Breathing exercises or pranayama, for stress reduction and self awareness. Relaxation for the mind and body - leading towards meditation. |
